'The Artist & the Model' is a finalist in the 2019 Dobell Drawing Prize at the National

This work considers the dynamic relationship and power play between artist and sitter. I wanted the work not to spell out who is the artist and who is the model. It highlights vulnerability, the vulnerability that one feels when painting someone and perhaps the vulnerability one feels when sitting for someone.
